Manage Dealers

The Dealer Management feature enables users to view, add and edit dealerships and partners associated with a lender. This feature allows for comprehensive management of dealership information, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. The window includes columns for Dealer Name, Code, First Name, Last Name, Email Address and Status, providing a clear overview of each dealership's details. Users can easily access and update this information, facilitating efficient management of lender-dealer relationships and ensuring that all dealership data is properly maintained within the system.

To manage dealers, follow these steps:

  1. Add New Dealer: Click the Add New Dealer button to add a new dealer. Ensure that the dealership code is unique and does not overlap with an existing dealership code.

  1. Input Dealer Name: Enter the name of the dealer. This field records the official name of the dealership.

  2. Input Code: Enter a unique code assigned to the respective dealer. This code is unique for each record and will be used for referencing the dealer where necessary.

  3. Input First/Last Name: Provide the name of the contact person for the respective dealer. These fields are used to record the dealer’s primary contact person.

  4. Input Email: Enter the email address of the dealer. This address will be used for electronic communication.

  5. Select Option for Status: Choose the status of the record. Dealers with Status Enabled will be available for future use, while records with Status Disabled will no longer be accessible.

  6. Managing Existing Records: Already added dealers are displayed in a tabular form, providing a clear overview of existing records. A Search Bar is available to filter records based on search criteria. An ellipsis menu appears on the right side of each record, allowing users to Edit or Delete the respective dealer.
