1. What is the Broker Portal?

The Broker Portal is an online platform designed to help brokers create, manage and track proposals and quotations for their clients. It streamlines processes like generating financial quotes, submitting proposals and monitoring progress.

2. How do I create a new quotation?

To create a new quotation:

  • Go to the Proposals and Quotations menu.

  • Select Create New Quotation.

  • Fill in the necessary details, such as asset type, client type and financial parameters.

  • Click Save to generate the quotation.

3. What is the difference between a quotation and a proposal?

A quotation is an initial financial estimate based on client requirements and predefined configurations. A proposal is a more formalized offer, which includes additional information such as legal documents and credit checks and is submitted for approval.

4. How can I convert a quotation into a proposal?

You can convert a quotation into a proposal by:

  • Navigating to the Quotations tab in the Workqueue.

  • Selecting the quotation you wish to convert from the table.

  • Using the ellipsis menu and choosing Convert to Proposal.

5. Where can I track the status of my proposals?

You can track all your proposals in the Workqueue menu under the Track Proposals tab. This tab shows all proposals and their current statuses, allowing you to monitor progress efficiently.

6. What information is required to create a new proposal?

When creating a new proposal, you need to provide details such as:

  • Client and proposal type.

  • Asset details (category, type, sub-type, cost, etc.).

  • Financial details (deposit amount, repayment schedule, etc.).

  • Credit documents like financial reports or business registration certificates.

7. Can I upload documents for a proposal?

Yes, documents can be uploaded in the Credit Documents tab of a proposal. Click on Add New Document to upload necessary documents like financial reports or approvals.

8. How do I edit a saved proposal?

To edit a saved proposal:

  • Go to the Workqueue menu.

  • Navigate to the appropriate tab (e.g., Draft Proposals).

  • Select the proposal and click View/Edit from the ellipsis menu.

9. What is the purpose of the Workqueue?

The Workqueue helps users organize and manage their ongoing tasks related to quotations and proposals. It includes tabs for tracking all proposals, dealer proposals, draft proposals and quotations, enabling you to efficiently manage your workload.

10. Can I clone an existing proposal?

Yes, you can clone an existing proposal by:

  • Navigating to the Draft Proposals tab in the Workqueue.

  • Selecting the proposal and choosing Clone Proposal from the ellipsis menu. This creates a new proposal with the same details for easy duplication.

11. How do I monitor the status of documents for a proposal?

In the Credit Documents tab of a proposal, you can see the status of each document under columns like Document State (mandatory/optional) and Document Status (missing/uploaded).

12. What does the "Manually Change Status" option do?

The Manually Change Status option in the ellipsis menu allows users to update the status of a proposal or quotation manually, useful for reflecting progress or administrative changes.

13. Can I download all documents for a proposal at once?

Yes, you can download all documents associated with a proposal by clicking on Download All in the ellipsis menu within the Credit Documents tab.
